COVID-19 The Pain

Have you heard of the new virulent strain? That has made earth its domain And brought humans under its murderous reign Though from china, it did not pertain But moved quickly across every terrain We don't really know how long it will remain

But we definitely know its torturous campaign

We initially looked at it with disdain But now it has become a great pain It will do you no good to write a complain All our efforts till now have reaped no gain It still infects our body and damage our vein And depends completely on our cells to sustain

Wherever it goes it leaves a blood stain The old and young both get brutally slain Crying and sobbing will just go in vain Because the virus is completely inhumane Within a short time, it has managed to attain The title of being humanity's greatest bane

The methods given are very plain So, let me now try and explain On how to prevent and curtain Firstly, avoid using the metro train Or flying abroad in an international plane Quarantine yourself at home once again To try and break this continuous chain Let go of meat and learn to fast and abstain And get used to the whole wheat grain Such a life is sure to be mundane But there is always TV to entertain

The world leaders have got A Migraine Devising new and novel methods of restrain The process of trying to obtain An effective vaccine is driving scientists insane And causing them to scratch their brain

Until then as far as possible try and maintain

The distance of at least a three feet cane From anyone you see walking on the lane It spreads more quickly if there is a rain And becomes very hard to contain Unless people make it a point to refrain From meeting their loved one in pain
